Skipper Tuna in Fiji manufactured by Voko Industries Limited started in the year 1994. Voko Industries Limited is the original owner of the fish processing business in Fiji.
Moreover, Viti Foods Limited, a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies. It has been operating at the same site as previously owned by Voko Industries since 2008, similarily. The production line was producing one of the best canned Mackerel sold in the domestic market.
In 2010, Viti Foods Limited picked up from its top grade canned mackerel and began diversifying within the mackerel categories and the Tuna categories with the Skipper brand, which is now a household name in Fiji.
In 2016, Vitifoods Limited successfully obtained Kosher certificate from Koshart Australia & BRC certificate from SGS Australia for all of the canned products as well as Cooked Frozen Tuna loins. Vitifoods Limited is penetrating pacific island markets successfully with its product range & identifying customer requirements on a specific market.
Viti Foods processes Skipper Tuna in Fiji for domestic and export markets including; Australia, New Zealand, PNG, East Timor, and other Pacific Island Countries.
