Rainforest Eco Lodge Fiji, formerly known as Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort, is perched atop the remnants of an ancient volcanic plug. Embracing its Fijian name, Naulukaroa, which signifies the head of the clan, this eco-friendly retreat has a rich history. Originally established as Raintree Lodge in 1999, it later transformed into Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort before adopting its current name. Pioneering ecotourism in Fiji, this purpose-built resort which has Budget Rooms, Studio Rooms and Bures, mesmerizes visitors with its unspoiled natural beauty and thriving ecosystems. Conveniently nestled on the fringes of a rainforest, it is a mere 15 minutes away from Suva city.
Located along Princes Road in Colo-i-Suva, right opposite the Police Post and adjacent to the Forest Park and Forestry Department, the Rainforest Eco Lodge enjoys an enviable location. Princes Road, a scenic alternate route connecting Nausori Airport and Suva, offers a picturesque journey. The lodge is approximately 15 kilometers from the airport and 9 kilometers from Suva, ensuring effortless access to the city via taxis or local buses.
A true paradise awaits just 500 meters from our doorstep at Colo-I-Suva Forest Park. Immerse yourself in the lush tropical flora and be serenaded by a symphony of vibrant, melodious birdlife. This enchanting park boasts 6.5 kilometers of meandering walking trails that guide you to sparkling natural pools and inviting swimming holes, offering an enchanting experience.
