Nagan Engineering (Fiji) PTE Ltd – Ba, Fiji
Nagan Engineering (Fiji) PTE Ltd – Ba, Fiji was established in 1945 by Late Mr. Abel Nagan as a small Blacksmithing Operation. Late Mr. Abel Nagan was the first Indo-Fijian apprentice who was trained under Colonial Sugar Refinery (CSR) in the 1930s, now Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC). Since then, the company constantly expanded over the years.
After incorporated in 1966 and over the years, Nagan Engineering, has progressed from cast iron era to a Hi-Tech foundry services with Electric Induction Furnace specializing in cast iron, steel, bronze and aluminum to specified requirements.
Mrs. Leah L. Nagan stood by her late husband since 1975 and labored tirelessly to see his life’s work accomplished by:
- Producing products for local market, resulting in foreign exchange savings to Fiji.
- And for the benefit of keeping Fiji Citizens employed.
Nagan Engineering (Fiji) PTE Ltd is Fiji’s first Foundry, that has served the Fijian Market since the 1940s and we will continue to serve for many years yet to come with extensive development plans and with better designs.
To date, Nagan Engineering (Fiji) PTE Ltd – Ba, Fiji comprises of 25 employees who work their respective departments such as Machine & Fitting Shop, Foundry, Grinding, Welding, Maintenance, Pattern and Design under the management of Mr. Anand Nagan, son of Late Mr. Abel Nagan.
In addition, there are also staff who are giving their best support in successful day to day running of the company.
