IDEA Training Collaborative is a nonprofit training centre based in Toronto, providing compliance-focused, trauma‑informed training for shelters, social services, and frontline workers throughout Canada. As the leading provider of Toronto Shelter Standards training and shelter standards certificate programs, we help City of Toronto– funded and purchase‑of‑service shelters remain audit‑ready, document‑strong, and aligned with local requirements.
Our course catalogue consists of Toronto shelter standards on the internet training, shelter support worker certificate training, non‑violent crisis intervention (CPI/NVCI) training, UMAB training, crisis avoidance and intervention training Toronto, First Aid and CPR training in Toronto, and ODSP training programs. With flexible distribution formats– self‑paced e‑learning, live online workshops, and in‑person sessions– we make it easy for organizations to train new staff quickly and keep knowledgeable groups current.
IDEA Training Collaborative also supplies documents training, situation monitoring certification pathways, crisis management training, and mental health and substance utilize workshops tailored to shelter and area support settings.
