The company is involved in tuna fishing operation, fish processing, fish export, fishing vessels management and services.
Golden Ocean Fish Ltd’s main business is Tuna Long-line fishing, processing and exporting of Yellow fin and Big Eye Tuna and other deep-sea fishes such as Albacore Tuna, Marlin, Swordfish, Mahimahi, Wahoo, Opah, Escolar, Sailfish and Spearfish.

Our Fishing Fleet
Golden Ocean tuna fishing fleet comprises of more than 30 tuna long-line fishing vessels that fish within the Fiji exclusive economic zone and its neighbouring Pacific Island countries. Our fleet operations are based in the capital city, Suva where our in-house Engineering team ensures that our vessels are in very good condition and in accordance with Maritime regulations and guidelines.
All our vessels are well equipped with Freezing and Ice facilities, Vessel Monitoring System programs and a Super Freezer onboard one of our largest vessels. Our crew and fishermen undergo training on Quality Assurance procedures prior to their departure and lucrative incentives are an added booster.
We are a member of the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) and our commitment to sustainability is seen in our Albacore products that proudly carry the blue Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) label.
We are committed to Dolphin safe fishing practices and our vessels are under the jurisdiction of the government of Fiji that prohibits illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing activities. Our dedication to ensuring that our customers receive superior quality and safe seafood products begins before our vessels leave our shores.
